Become a Foster. Save a Life.

Every week, we take in animals from neglect, abandonment, and urgent situations. Many of them need a safe, stable home while they
wait for a forever family.

We are a 100% foster-based rescue, which means every animal we take in depends on a foster home being available.
You provide the home. We handle medical care, applications, and placement. It’s a shared process, and your role is essential in helping us
understand the animal and move them toward the right home.

The minimum foster period is typically two weeks, although we strongly encourage fostering until adoption whenever possible. Some
animals may require additional time depending on their situation. Throughout the process, you will be in direct communication with our
team, and we will guide you through next steps, updates, and placement. Fostering allows the animal to adjust while giving us the
insight needed to place them in the right home.

Foster Responsibilities

Provide a safe, stable home environment
✓ Provide basic supplies such as food and bedding
✓ Be available for meet and greets in your home
✓ Transport the animal to vet visits if needed
✓ Send daily photos and updates so we can promote the animal and monitor progress
✓ Communicate consistently with our team
✓ Follow all care and medical instructions

Community Service Hours

If you are a student or need community service hours, fostering can count toward those requirements.

Dogs: 100 hours per week
Cats: 70 hours per week

You do not need to foster for community service, but it is an added benefit for those who need it.
